Services

• Depending on preference or suitability, visits can be made to home/nursery/school for both therapy and assessment.
• Initial assessments include a detailed case history and a combination of formal and informal assessments to understand your child’s speech language and/or communication needs.
• All initial assessments will include details including findings and recommendations for speech therapy input.
• If required, reports can be used for an EHCP.

• Therapy is tailored to the age and ability of your child to ensure they are motivated and challenged.
• Sessions typically last around 45-60 minutes.
• Therapy is tailored to your child’s specific requirements and therapy can be weekly, fortnightly or monthly sessions.
• Advice and resources are given to parents/education staff to support practice of skills with the client between therapy.

• A comprehensive detailed assessment and report for evidence in an educational tribunal hearing.
• Attendance at Hearing.
• Assessments also include observations, informal/formal assessment and verbal/written reports.
